I think that pvp is truly fun, but my first attempt at it in WSG was a bizzar experience (only played for 4 weeks). I had a lev. 19 hunter with decent gear (no enchants) and got stamped on like a maggot by uber twinked horde warriors an rouges. I then decided to roll me a warrior and get twinked myself, but with the new patch coming up next tuesday I can´t see a reson to spend loads on gold to pvp at lev 19 since the parties will be gear matched. This is great news for all us new players, and for those who want to pvp a bit while levelling up without having to spend loads of gold just to survive a few minutes.
I have only one concern about the new patch and that is the queing system. I wonder if the gear matching might lead to a longer waiting time before the match starts. Any thoughts?

Well Blizzard said they would TRY to have the BGs more even on gear. They did not say this would always happen. So you will end up with some Twinks in BGs with "normal" folks but do not be suprised if a few slip in from time to time. As for the Ques I think for the first month or so the ques will go Down, due to the new PvP reward system but once folks see how long it will take to get the "Uber" gear the times will tapper back off to about what your Realm que "normaly" was for your bracket.
Has anyone seen an official comment from Blizzard about how they plan to do the gear matching?

no offense but rogues and warriors really shouldnt be beating you in the 19 bracket even if they are twinked, as long as you arent just wearing greys.

IMO you're choosing to twink because you want an "I WIN" button not because you are just playing a character for all it can be. Anyone truly playing the latter should welcome the change because it will now mean that your whole team is in the same mindset as you and may actually posess some skill ... "may".
Trying to beat twink teams is not possible unless you are fighting with an equal twinked team. During one fight I stood quietly and fired lots of shots at a warrior doing ab. 600-700 dmg before he cought up with me. Then I was dead with 2 strikes....
