So I get this message from Blizz the other day saying my account has been closed and is under investigation? I do not get why I have not been on in about 2 weeks but whatever they say there is an investigation going on and could take some time, but here is my question. Can I start another account, a new one, while the investigation is going on and then if they find that I did nothing wrong, which they will, can I go back to my old account with my 5 lvl 60's!!!!?

If you did nothing wrong and Blizz doesn't make a mistake, yes, you can go back to your account once they are done. I don't know about making a new account, but I doubt you can. Why would you want to start over like that, anyway? Seems boring to me. =/

It is gonna be boring! But then again it wont take me long to lvl a a toon to 60 at this point. I am just pissed that I am being restricted by Blizz for something that I dont even know what I did. I know the rules and never have I broken them.
Ya it would be a waste but I wanna play and not wait weeks and weeks for blizz to figure out the difference between thier Aholes and a hole in the ground. They should ban people who deserve it, like people who use pwlvling services and such not a committed user of the game. I could probally answer any question they had in between the 1-60 lvls.
I just want to play, so my question still is can I keep my old account while I wait for their decision and but a new game and load that one also and still play while they keep going on the account investigation if I log it under a different name?

Do you log into WoW on any computer other than your own?

If you've logged on using a public computer, never know if someone has been using WoWGlider or something similar.

I have one time but what if that is the case, how do I make that case to Blizz so they dont ban me if that is the case?

I honestly don't know if you can. Blizzard has been on a banning spree as of late when it comes to Glider users.

Best advice is to call customer service.

ya i am probally gonna have to do that tomorrow but if anyone still has any other advice for me i would sure like to hear it, i really dont wanna give up for 60 toons w/o a fight at least and i am short on ammo

word of advice... just wait the couple days for you to get your account back. I was once falsely accused 4 days b4 i was suppose to get HWL for "sharing my account" and tried to prove my innocence. Called and emailed them so many times and they did not do a damn thing. They will just respond with some emails that have been written like a year ago, that they send to thousands of other people. If you call they will act like their trying to help... they passed me back n forth for hours n nothing happend. Sorry it sux, blizzard can be retarded sometimes. It is guilty ask question laters for blizzard. Not innocent till proven guilty. It was prolly a hater that has no friends and doesnt like u, that reported u to a GM for some BS reason. It sux but you might as well save yourself the trouble and wait out the time. gl.

You can buy a new game and make a new account that way, and then you can still go back to your old account if it is reactivated. Just cancel the new account.

Kinda crappy though.

CAN you? Yes, if you want to burn an extra $30-40 on a new copy. However, I'm a bit baffled about how you "have not been on in about 2 weeks" yet so suddenly have the urge to play because "but I wanna play and not wait weeks and weeks".

If you want to fight it, then by all means, fight it along the channels Blizzard offers. You can fight it other ways if you want, but those are the fastest and most effective.

Of course, it completely goes without saying that if you WERE doing something wrong and got banned, you should just give up the fight.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. To address a few of the comments. 1. the reason I was not on for 2 weeks and now want to get back on is because I have been home with my father who has cancer. Not that you care but just so we can lay that ******* baby to bed. 2. Ya it sucks but I am going to agree with the comment it was probally some hater who reported me, I did nothing wrong. So falsly accussed most likely. But who knows what the Blizz will decide to do.

One time my friend acct got hacked in UO and he ended up naked in the middle of nowhere.

Good times..

On a serious note you can't do anything by calling or emailing so just wait it out. I'd be pissed though if I got banned for no reason. Anyway, don't they give you a couple strikes before they perma ban you? I know I used to get 24, 48, then perma ban.

If it's a temp ban you can just wait it out. If it's something you'll have to appeal, just ignoring it will result in nothing. You have to contact them to start the appeal process. Phone works better.

I have to say your quite nieve with the i havnt been playing for 2 weeks. I have been a fan of Blizzard games for many many years; they keep track of accounts that get several appeals on them, then cross check the in-game records. every 6 months or so they ban a **** ton of people. so you could have messed around with Glider or whatever months ago to get banned now. this is not an uncommon thing. every other MMO i have played have done the same in the past.

One thing though, Blizzard is going threw a legeal dispute with Redhat and IBM. They had problems with not being able to detect a direct violation of their TOS with operating systems other then Windows. because of how win32 app's can be "altered" for things as glider.

So if your not useing Windows then you may have a saving grace.. but more then likely you are and your screwed; and your willingness to give up a few 60's so quickly and start over sorta shows you did violate TOS. but if it is your first offence and it did happen months ago i would put my money on that they just placed you on a 3-10 day suspension and you will get your account back.

In eithor case.. dont cheat and you wont have to worry about it. GL in gettin your accounts back.
