Hey guys and gals. Does anyone know the answer to this? If i cancel my current WoW subscription can i open a new account using the former cancel'd accounts Authentication key? Thanks in advance ^_^

I'm not sure on that one but why cancel your account and then open a new one up with the same Authentication Key ? That does not make much sence at all.

No, the key is tied to the account - regardless of whether the account is canceled or active. Canceling an account does not "delete" it, but as Mort stated it simply enters a dormant state.

You won't. One authentication key - One account. Why would you want to cancel your account just in order to use it again? If you've changed name, address, credit info, phone number, e-mail address, etc. You can go to the main WoW site and handle those through the "account management" button, and those are the only legitimate reasons I can think of for wanting to do that.

If you are asking this because you want to sell your old account, be aware that your account will be banned, and you won't have to worry about cancellation.

If you are trying to reset your account because you got banned already (for botting or other infraction), then you're out of luck there, too.

To me that kinda sounds like someone was banned, and they want a new account with out re-buying the game. I guess it could be either.
