1-60 in less than 2 days... not.Follow

#1 Nov 27 2006 at 5:11 PM Rating: Decent
My RL friend claims to have leveled to 60 in less than two days of played time. Honestly, I don't see how this is possible, especially with a warrior.

Screenshot

I just examined the photo, and it appears possible that he smudged out a 1 on "total time played" to make it 4 days instead of 14. Anyone agree?

Edited title so it doesn't get a million views from newbs wanting links to a power leveling guide.

I looked at the pic as well, and i'm pretty sure he smudged out a number infront of the 4. Btw, what UI was he using?

Just the default UI with Titan Panel.

Yup, there's too much space in front of that '4'.

Besides, who goes to 60 in two days and then epic mount in three more days?

And is that The Unstoppable Force he's wearing? He did 1-60, epic mount and Exalted in Alterac Valley in five days?

Unpossible.

Not to mention that you can see a weird smudge before the 4 that is colored slightly wrong and just barely cuts into the "level" text of the line below.

Or, the most obvious part...

Time spent at that level is 3 days... so he got to 60 in one day and has been there for 3 days before taking a screen shot?

he smudged in front of the 4 and the 3, he's been a 60 for a while. also you can get to 60 fairly fast by logging out for days/weeks to get rest xp

Definitely smudged and, as Mazra said, there's an extra space in front of the 4.

This reminds me of a long thread we had a while back in which a couple of people were planning to play seven days straight (literally, no sleep or meal breaks) to get from 1 to 60. Anyone ever hear whether they pulled that off? (And stayed alive?)

I believe they are now posting in the Asylum.

Achileez and shadowrealm.

You know it makes sense.

I remember that. I think one of them pulled out so it didn't happen.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to level to 60?

My druid (1st char) took like 15 1/2 days played.

My hunter (2nd char) took like 10 1/2 days played.

Just wondering.

Back when you could Z-axis hack people could get mages to 60 in two days by AoEing a whole zone and not being able to be hit (but being able to hit the mobs).

My most recent 60 was exalted w/ AB and WSG and almost AV when I hit 60 and my play time was just under 20 days.

Amazingly, my Hunter (my first 60) rarely saw the inside of an instance and was L60 before BGs came out and it took him 19+ days!

As for someone photoshopping a pic to try to fake his play time ... That kid is a loser.

Nope, they made it so mobs can hit you no matter where on the Z-axis you are :P.

I got my first char to lvl 60 in 10 days (NE Priestess).

Of all my friends and WoW "friends" (ca. 40ppl that ive asked their /played) I'd say that it takes 8-14 days to get to lvl 60. Just depends how devoted you are into lvling, it takes alot of discipline, *Inner Voice: IRL friens on TS / Ventrilo.*
....
Yeah, thats what i meant.. *cough*

I don't see what the big deal is to get to 60. I mean, I understand the accomplishment, and the time spent to get there. I understand the pixalated blood, sweat and tears that went into your character. But I don't understand powerleveling and trying to get to 60 as quickly as possible. I've only been playing for about a month and my hunter is level 21. I think it's fun to play, reguardless of level. The road should be enjoyed, not tolerated until you get to your final destination. But that is just my opinion.
