hi, I just started WoW and chose rogue as my class. I am lvl 12 now but I am confused about the skill tree ( Assasination, Subwhatever, combat ). I play in a normal server, so I was wondering which build to go for lvling. And is it possible to re-allocate points?

Should post this in the Rogue Forum. Or at least go to the Rogue forums and read the FAQs. It'll tell you more than what you'll really want to know at lvl 12.
As with any job, yes, your Job Dudes (I have no idea what to call them, it's the guys who give you new abilities as you level up) will give you an option to re-learn your talent trees. This costs gold, that increases each time you re-spec so be careful to not ***** it up too often.

When it comes to building you're skill tree, try to think long term. Will you want to participate in the battlegrounds more, or perhaps, RAID later on end game. From there, try checking out the Rogue forum on Allah and the Official site. You'll see some guys who have committed a majority of there time finding the perfect tree for whichever long term goal they have.
