Everyday, at not certain time, I just start getting a disconnection surge, where I can't stay in longer than 10. IT's happening at the moment and I just reached lvl 40 and havent got my mount yet because of it... There is nor reason as to why it's happening because it shouldn't be. Please help me.

I had that too!

I'm not even close to sure what it is. All I know is reformatting your computer does NOT help. I would try a really good virus/worm scanner, like Norton Anti-virus. If that doesn't work, then it's probably because your computer is burning out, that's what I think mine was doing.

You also might have a lot of dust in your fan, I would take off the back panel and vacuum out the dust.

Please oh please do not vaccuum any part of your computer. A vaccuum produces just the right ammount of electrostatic, that when discharged, will fry all of the sensitive electronics in your computer such that you will wish that you were still trying to log in. Please don't vaccuum your computer.

Okay I won't vacuum, ty for all help but I've now realised it ONLY happens when I'm in parties and happens rarely. It doesn't happen everytime just sometimes when I'm in party but yeh, after I get d/c I just leave party for a couple mins, and get re-invited.

What are you talking about? It's perfectly fine smarty pants. I've done it twice before. It does not form any electrostatic energy when pulling air into a tube.

Just make sure you put BOTH hands COMPLETELY FACE DOWN on the metal base you remove from the back of your computer, or a type of sheet metal. This will discharge any static electricity on you.

Yeah, you're probably right, but the place I work has me soooo paranoid about ESD, they make us wear ESD booties, and smocks.

Using a vacuum is foolish... it most certainly does cause static to build and it can completely take out the PC in one lil zap. I was a PC maintenace guy for 5 years, and have been building PC's since i was 13, so that's about 17 years now... Can you do it 100 times and get away with it? Sure. Wait till 101 when you fry the Northbridge and you're dropping $300+ for a new motherboard. Will really make you wish you used a $2.99 can of air...

As far as connections dropping, I'm a network software developer now... and lemme tell you WoW amazes me... I got a rash of them over the Thurs night- Saturday period this Thanksgiving weekend... I would guess that a combination of the rolling patches, plus above average use was likely the guilty party. A few times when I was sure I was about to drop, everything 'happened' all at once, 3 spells went off, the raptor i was fighting died, and then I got 3 messages about my target being dead... this went on for almost 2 hours...
