I am Jaria, squire to his honor, Warchief Jordster.
Jordster has expressed to me that he is tired of pointless arguements.
Warchief Jordster has always spoken his mind with a minimal number of "filters." He called things for what they were. Sadly, unlike the folks who used to frequent this WoW forum back in the early days, a great number of you have expressed disdain with his outspoken nature. As well, "Warchief" has PvP connotations, and Joruid, his main, does not PvP any more (I think he's dropped all the way down to rank 3 or 4 or something).
Henceforth, Jordster shall go by the title Professor Jordster. In this capacity, Jordster will continue to actively post answers to people's questions and insightful threads about relevant gameplay issues. Beyond that, however, Jordster will no longer engage in any comments/threads that will cause unrest. He has come to the realization that the posters of Allakhazam value peace over honesty, and as such Jordster will remain silent in any matters where his honest answer would threaten the peace.

If you really want to change your style do it.
But realise that a lot of time people like to critcise not because they actually seek cahnge, but for personal motives. Also realise that critics don't always know what's best for everyone.
An example of the latter would eb the minimum wage issue. Many people would straightforwardly think that raising minimum wage would be a good thing for those in low end jobs. But a first year economics student will tell you this doesn't help the situation at all, and that it is in fact detrimental to the economy. Raising minimum wage increases the the income of those who are working, but it also increases unemployment because firms cannot afford to hire as many employees, thus no real gain is made. Overall though fewer people are working and production is lessened so while the average wage for the poorer segment of society hasn't changed at all the overall production of the country is lowered.
So do what you want Professor.

Allegory you understand why I've been getting flamed so hard lately for my comments. People are good-hearted and optimistic - maybe sometimes too much so. Truth be told - I am just sick of arguing with them. I also get popped down to default basically within the same minute I post which is starting to remind me of the FFXI forum of 2 years ago.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. (regarding the raters in FFXI section)
Hmm, lol somehow you changing your title and talking about being rated in the FFXI threads remind's me of my "Warchief Wrecker" title I always carried with me in FFXI. I couldn't run by that guy without killing him!

Seem, now that they hide you're actual rating, it isn't as obvious that you get rated down anymore... so only the truly petty do it... and not to mention that you don't get 'friendly rate back up' anymore.
