How is Undead balanced vs Living?Follow

#1 Jul 04 2004 at 10:20 PM Rating: Decent
Again hello all,

I have been reading everything I can. I have been seeing some great posts. I however have another question that I can't seem to answer yet. Looking at Paladin skillsets it is obvious and expected that he is powerful against undead. In truth in a Battlefield and other situations I would think a paladin gives a great edge against the Horde/Undead. What is the Undead counter to this. It seems that one class so easily tips the scales for one side, and I am sure there is some counter. Is it supposed to be the Shaman? Just curious as Paladin skills seemed to be very weighted. Coming form an outside perspective though I dont have a clue. I could possibly see in a major battle where everything can be very confusing and a Shaman throws down his totemic magice which affects everyone in the are radius vs just Paladin Party members in range? Am I correct here?

Thanks in advance,

R,

The undead are immune to various effects. The abilities that paladins and priests have only serve to bring the scales back into balance, imho. If a Human priest fought an Undead mage, the mage could sleep the priest, but the priest could shackle the mage. An Undead priest and a Human mage would not be able to do that to each other.
