Anyone have an idea what my next step is? My old launcher doesn't bring up the game at all anymore but something entirely different. The newer version launcher that I got after the expac came out doesn't work anymore either. As soon as I open it, it already says PLAYING and I can't click anywhere to pull up the game.
Should I push uninstall would it delete the whole game or just the launcher? I can redownload it if that's the case but for the entire game, I'd be quite upset.

The new launcher is the one you need to use. If it already says playing then EverQuest2.exe is probably running in your processes for some reason. Open up task manager and see if it's in there then force close it (or reboot your computer, it'll have the same effect). Then the launchpad should have a "play" button instead of "playing".
I'm not sure what uninstall would do but I have a sinking feeling it would uninstall the entire game, so probably not your best choice.
