Get me out of Fens of Nathsar please!Follow

#1 Sep 03 2010 at 6:19 PM Rating: Decent
I have just started playing Everquest Extended and am a level 14 beserker. I was in Timorous Deep when I used the Voyage through Norrath device and selected Fens of Nathsar just for fun. I thought I'll get a warning of some sort that it's a high level zone or it would not allow me to go through.

So the long story short is, I am stuck in Fens of Nathsar and don't know how to get back to Timorous Deep. Guys please help or I'll be stuck here forever!

Thanks.

Open up your knowledge book (hotkeyed to "k"). There should be an ability call "Call of Gorowyn" (I think, never been a Gorowynian). Click that, and you'll be back in Gorowyn! :)

Always watch what levels the mouseover shows on the map. The game will never stop you from going to a zone that's much higher level than you are. I guess you know this now, haha.

Hey it worked! It was exactly as you said and I am back in Gorowyn. Wow man, I couldn't thank you enough for this. I thought I was screwed and had to find a teleport device somewhere in the map!

You sure saved my life. Thank you so much again.

Regards,
Varun.

What's really going to trip him out is when he figures out what "Set Recall" does. <3 that ability

1. A duck, really? *ponder*
2. I always found set recall to be something rarely used. Use it once to bind near a banker and broker and done. ;)

I use Set Recall every time I move. I like to bind right outside my house. That way when I forget to pay the rent and I can't port to my house from the GH, I can at least call right in front of it.

On my main, I'm bound right outside of my home too. I live in SQ so there is a bank & broker a short run away and home seems like a good rally point. With alts there are different points for each depending on needs at that moment...

My alts are bound outside their homes for the same rent reason. My main is actually right next to the collection npc.

I found it useful doing the Halas newb area though, since I rarely used the broker or banker while doing the starting quests. Once you have to swim out to the orc islands it's nice too so you can call right back to the npc for quest turn ins.
