Latest information is that Sarnaks are neutral. People are confusing the Sarnak city and the old Iksar city: in EQ1 Iksar were evil and Sarnaks were just mobs to slay (but opposed to Iksar).

Anyway my : NO F2P, EVER! I played DDO before & after they went to a free platform and honestly, while there may be more players now it has ruined the game by bringing in a lot of people who don't know proper etiquette (Yes, I'm bringing that into this conversation).

Everyone wants instant gratification in that game now, and gone are the days of putting work into your character. The global chats are filled up with useless banter and people shouting "LFG" when there is a perfectly good LFG system in the game (I admit the same happens in EQ2 though).

I'm also fine with paying for EQ2 if it means that every 10 year old with a hard drive can't download it and play. In the event that they did let such a travesty occur, I pray... PRAY I TELL YOU, that they make chat a paid feature so we at least dont have to put up with it. Also limit the new players Halas/Gorowyn... nowhere else, ever...unless they pay and write out a 1500 word essay on why they should be allowed the ability to communicate with other players.
