Erollisi DayFollow

Yo there friends. Have you heard about the Erollisi World Event? I couldn't sleep so I was reading whatever and came across this: http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/news_ff.vm?FeatureName=erollisi&section=development

I have done this quest on the Oasis server and Test server. In Q-town you can find Goldie straight out from the North Q gate, the first tree you come to. I started writting down the stats for my search on Test and here is what I have so far.

Search #1 found: 8 lust, 15, passion, 8 devotion = got a passion candle
Search #2 found: 7 lust, 9 passion, 12 devotion = got a devotion candle
Search #3 found: 13 lust, 17, passion, 16 devotion = got a passion candle.

Makes sense. The most of what you get is the gift you receive.

Ok, passion and devotion are nice but I want some good old lust.
Search #4 I decided to collect only passion and kill beetles.
got 4 lust, 0 passion, 1 devotion = got zero, zip, naught. I didn't try hard enough. :(

After reading the threads on SOE I think I need at least 5 of each to get a love candle, I wonder what it looks like? I am going to try 2 more searches.

Oh, the candles are a single candle. They each have colored hearts floating above them. I think the colors are red for lust, purple for passion, and blue for devotion.

Yeah, I ran this quest a few times on test (mostly while it was still broken), and then 4 times this morning.

I agree with most all you said, your reward is indeed based on which item you get most of and yes, there are a lot more ?s floating around out there... I think that when they generate the floaty hearts for the quest it is also popping more ?s. Make sense?

The only thing I disagree with you about is where you can gather... I have found floaty hearts out as far as The Qeynos Claymore and the bluffs past Archer's Wood. My personal best was about 32 hearts and I managed that score by running straight to the harvest area near the Keep of the Ardent Needle.. In that run, I had over a dozen in under 4 minutes and finished with 32 or 34 (can't remember which).

Four runs and 4 candles (one of each and an extra lust), so I'm happy!
