You can use your mouse to change the angle you are facing and go down, or either delete, end, or page down will make you sink.

I normally go into first person mode (using my scroll wheel) and then the direction you are looking is the direction you will swim. Just use the forward movement key to move toward what you are facing.

When you need a breath, look up and swim to the surface.

breath? bah, I just let my cleric sit there on the bottom...Check on him every 14.5 minutes or so... works fine :P

Love the underwater breathing-spell (let's you stay underwater for 15 minutes)...

How do you make macros run abilities in eq2, is there a list of ability-commands somewhere? looping is /macro in eq2 as well right?

would like a looped macro that ran that spell every 7th minute..

You can also use your "end" key to go down in the water or dive and your "home" key to move up in the water. I find that easier than trying to use the mouse.

Macroing is different in EQ2. There is no "delay/pause/wait" command, so you cannot time events.

And since you can only chain two events, you can only use two events in your macro. Meaning, you cannot chain 5 spells to cast.

When your water breathing spell gets upgraded it becomes "until cancelled", so this will become moot.

At that point you also get a boost to your swimming skill of something like 65 points. I'm pretty sure I can swim faster than I can run. :)

I actually spent a considerable amount of time underwater, mainly for exploring, but also for many quests.

And if you position yourself just right in the surf, you will see underwater clear as day.

Swimming was a joy...until I got to Everfrost.

Nothing worse than tooling around in the murky water and suddenly meeting a face full of teeth in the form of a heroic great white shark. Wait, I meant to say FOUR heroic great white sharks.

Kindle the Relic Keeper soon became Kindle the Chum.
