THose specs will work, just make sure your video card supports the requirements of the game.

Check out the FAQs on the SOE main page for more details about video cards.

And since you already have the computer, why not just load up the game and see for yourself? Then tell us how it went.

Thoese specs look fine to me. What size is your hard drive? I think most people have hard drives that are at least 80GB plus now. Except me. I just realized that the hard drive on my secondary system was a lowly 40 GB drive. It was running a little choppy so I decided to do a clean up and defrag. Defragging was recommended until Windows discoverd I only had 2 GB of free space. Ouch! I had a drive die and stuck that one in there to just get by and forgot all about it.

I have very similar specs on my secondary system and run with the graphics slightly higher than half performances. I have waving grass, rippling water, but no shadows if that gives you a clue. I also use an outside GU. Old Blue recommended Thor a while back and I haven't been without since.

If you have a clean hard drive you should be able to install just the trial version to test it out. Make up a new user just to see how well it works. If it all looks fine than go for broke.

Looks like your PC is bout what mine is. I have mine turn on custom with the texture details between high and medium. When in town it is abit laggy (nothing to realyl worry about), everywhere else its pretty much full speed.

I don't know how your video card compares to a my card though. Same amount of ram on it, but it could be faster or slower. Video card is probably the biggest factor on turning the graphics up.

There will more then likely always be situtaions that even the best PC might have to turn the settigns down (IE Raids where you have 30 people casting spells). But for the most part it shoudl look and run good for you. If you don't have a active account you could always try that trials of the island they have for free?
