Ooh lah lah! I just got my charm spell and boy is it sweet. I wasn't sure how it would work and if it would be anything like the charms in EQ Live. It seems to be very similar to the Enchanter's charm. It does break though so I have to be prepared to sing the song again. Unfortunately it is a long song to sing.
I also wasn't sure just how far the charmed ones would follow me. Apparently they will follow me as long as the charm holds or until I zone or escape. But then I gotta look out cause the no-longer charmed one is pissed and wants revenge.
Is there anyway to shorten the song time or lengthen the charm time that anyone knows of?

Um....no. Of course, there is no way to shorten it. There is a slight way to make it last longer. Do not get in any combat while it is Charmed. That will make the Charm stronger over time until it breaks. Unfortunatly, it will only be 2 or 3 minutes longer. If you bring the monster out of its zone, though, will it still be there if it is not Charmed and you leave the area?
OMG! I almost fell over laughing at something a charmed mob said while I had him bashing his budies for me. He looked at me with those pathetic hollow eyes of his and said "you have beautiful eyes!"
