Templar issuesFollow

My char is attempting to complete the Templar class in Haven of Decoy. A couple of weeks ago, when my char was level 19, I was attempting to complete the subclass and had issues trying to get shards back from inside the instance zone. After sending a message, I received one shard back which they said was bugged and retrieved the other and ran out immediately. Over the past couple of weeks, I have been working for exp points and now am way over the amount needed for level 20. This past weekend, I again attempted this instance after getting the best armor I could, upgrading any spells I could to no avail. Tried killing the three skellies in the second room first and died. Tried running past them and attacking the main man and died again.

Is there a bug for this whole instance? Any advice would be appreciated.

This might help:

For Sir Wembly's Tomb part you're taking the Downstairs VS path. Make sure SoW is on, Ward yourself, and just run. You should be able to make this easy unless you get hung up on a corner and lose your mind. The proper path is: Downstairs path, first right, then follow it north thru the skeletons. You should be in a tomblike area. Follow the winding path until you get to a two-level chamber (like where you started) and head upstairs. Right-Click (!) the door to open.

Kill the monsters in the instanced area, culminating with Xaurb Grengar. You only need to kill Xaurb and his enconter members to receive credit, but feel free to kill the others if you like. After killing him you can zone out and speak to Aurora to complete the quest.

This same instance is used for both wardens and furys so I have been through it twice. I didn't die either time. In addition, the same night I did the quest with my fury, a friend did it in a parallel instance with her fury and she didn't die either.

From the doorway where you zone in, there will be one wanderer and three pairs of sleepers between you and the left turn that will lead you towards the named you have to kill.

During each of the two times I did this quest I killed the wanderer first and then pulled the 3 pairs of sleepers one pair at a time.

Target a member of each pair and pull him to you using a DoT or DD spell, then let them come to you while you chain cast HOs, drop DoTs and melee till they are done.

You will be able to rest and recover to full power after each encounter since they will not awaken unless you move into their aggro zone.

When you have dispatched all 3 pair, move up the corridor along the right hand wall. When you reach the end, you can turn to your left and you will see a trio of mobs standing three across near the opening in the corridor between you and the named.

When you are ready, you can pull any one of the three using a DoT or DD and you will get them all. Dispatch these three and you're almost home. Run around the big table and up to the named to attack him. You probably won't be able to target him from a distance, (I wasn't). Melee and HO him till he drops and you are done.

CoQ out of there and report back to your quest giver for the update and the big graduation celebration!
