Seriously I must read the same phrase in variation 25 times in 15 mins on these forums.

I sincerely think that when someone compares EQ2 to the original there is no need to say "If you don't like it leave", or "This isn't EQ1"....those are what most people would call no **** statements. I don't think anyone accidentally picked up eq2 thinking they were getting one, and I highly doubt if someone really didn't like this game they would hang around to be badgered on the forums about it. People are just comparing...that's ok. That's how progress is made in games too just incase you didn't know, not just some tech working for Sony in a basement somewhere, customer feedback is very important to any self-perpetuating game.

Just food for thought before you "noob slam" the next person you see write "You know what I miss from EQ1..."

"I miss paying 500k plat for some stupid item that wasn't worth it because the market was full of plat farmers. =)"

That's an interesting point, Kalihn. If I understand it right, you have issues with the people that post replies.

In just as many posts you read of people saying "This is not EQ1...", there are as many posts asking, "...is it like EQ1 where..." And we have seen plenty of, "EQ2 of WoW, Which is Better?" There are almost as many posts of people complaining that one game is good for A, but another game is better in B.

Since many have played EQ1, that is the reference they may use to compare. There may be things in the first game they did not like and want to see if it has been fixed, changed, or deleted. If I am replying to someone that is familiar to EQ1, I like to use it as a reference - makes it easier to understand the changes.

Or someone may not have played the game at all and ask for what it's like. Other times someone just bought the game and are just asking questions.

In any case you'll find this forum generally provides responses and answers to the questions. What you won't find here is a long string of useless posts of, "...yea, what he said...". Or, "OMFG LOLrockerz!!11!! UR teh n00b, pwn-daddy! \/\/00t!!11!!"

I've found that unless someone asks a question or posts a scathing topic, it is usually pretty quiet. If someone comes comes off as an @$$, they will probably get similiar replies. If someone is friendly with their questions or posts, they will get the same in return. That's human nature.

And in any forum, everyone is entitled to their opinion, pleasent or not, informed or not. And whether or not someone approves, the opinions will continue.

Thank you both so very much for posting such useful information here in the Fighters Discussion Forum! Where would we be with out such thoughtful and concerned information on the class? I mean really! Get a clue!

Your title to this thread says it all about the information you put in it!

Hanzivan, do you have a specific question regarding Fighter class you would like answered?

Yes, Actually I did have a question. As it happens I was curious about the Race/Class combinations for a Fighter character. I was reading thru the threads and found information to aid me in my decision.
My initial comment to this thread was about as useless as the original post and I apologize to anyone that finds his or her way to this post for adding to it.
