fighter or rogueFollow

i am starting of as a iksar and am going to make all my stats at 25 to beging with but i cannot choose a class fighter or scout

A Fighter is designed to take a beating while doing low-to-medium damage.

A Scout is designed to attack with a bow or from behind and do high damage.

Rrikor has the best advise. Make two toons and run them both up, seeing how you like each one.

Keep in mind that within each class there are different archtypes that do things differently. In the Fighter class is an archtype of Monk/Bruiser. These martial arts masters deal damage with their fists or smaller weapons and have a very high avoidance (the ability to not get hit). However they do not wear plate armor like other fighters, so if they do get hit, it will hurt more.

In the Scout class, you have Rangers which are masters with long range bow and rear attacks. You also could be a Troubador that sing buff/debuff songs for yourself, the party, and against the mobs.
