Trapping? :: ZAM

Hi, all!

I just wanted to know how I can lvl up this skill? I realize that I need to trap something, but I don't know what. I am on the Isle of Refuge and I have tried every mob I have seen. The "Trap" option doesn't appear on any animal I try, not even deer or beaver, which I would really expect. I really want to lvl this skill before I leave the Isle, if it is possible.

there are specific harvesting points that look like a teepee made of small sticks that randomly apear in zones. thats where you practice trapping. I cannot, for the life of me, ever remember having seen trapping points on IoR (Isle of Refuge). Hope this helps!

To improve trapping you need to harvest animal dens, they look like little stick pyramids or a group of rocks. The resources I beleive are used by tailor and provisioners.

There are no trapping nodes on the Isle. You need to wait until you go to your home city and trap in one of the tier one areas, like Oakmyst Forest, The Peat Bog or The Forest Ruins in Qeynos.

The skill should go up pretty fast, and as soon as you get it to 20, you can stop doing tier one and move on to Antonica or Commonlands.

Some animal dens look like piles of rocks, but most look like unlit campfires.
