Perhaps I'm overlooking this somewhere, but is there anywhere that actually discusses "skills"; not tradeskilss nor spells/songs, but skills (i.e. anywhere that discusses duel wield, etc.) I have been trying to find out some information for my Scout/bard regarding that and a few other things but always find lists of songs/spells rather than what I'm actually looking for.
I would appreciate any help on this matter.

Skills such as dual weild are automatic, if you choose scout you can equip 2 weapons marked dual weild.
Skills such as sword, dagger, medium armour will increase when you level, and allow you to equip more powerful weapons.
Skills such as slash, pierce and ordination grow as you use them. Use that weapon type or spell type and occassionally the skill will go up.
Language skills are gained by reading the appropriate book, or doing the the language quest from droped mob items, such as fairy patches.
Bards can dual weild from the start. They gain leather at 10, and chain at 20. They can equip some round shields. They get a mix of spells/songs and melee attacks so both need to be worked on to be effective.

Do both weapons have to be marked as duel wield to be used? (i.e. one says "primary" the other offers secondary or primary and says duel wield)
Both have to say dual weild. There are 3 classes for weild type, dual, one-handed, and two-handed. I have never seen a primary dual weild my self, that doesnt mean they dont exist. But a bit lower down on the description, by the delay and damage, will be wield style. This will tell you how it can be equiped.
