Guardian Race

I was just wondering what race is best at being a guardian with good aliance. If one race is significantly better at guardian and just happens to be evil I would consider going through the betrayal quest. Thanks

Any race/class combo is fine; and guardians can start off as either good or evil Smiley: smile

I recommend Dwarves. They are little and are more capable of hiding behind the tower shield you will be wielding as a guardian Smiley: grin

As stat wise? Would either be Barbarian or Dwarf for good Stamina stats but Dwarf's have the edge to defend against magical attacks too. Both Stamina and Wisdom starting out at 25 gives them better stats to tank, but then again Barbarians also do have better Agility... >.>

But, for evil Troll all the way, with 30 Stamina to start out with and 17 Wisdom (not gonna be tanking to many magical creatures anyways).

If i was going to roll a Guard it would have to be a halfling or ratonga. Im serious, they have the worst starting stats but by the time i got to 50, 10 or even 20 points is mostly irrelevant and it would sure be fun on the way.

But for stats, yeah Troll/Barb or Dwf/Ogre as second bests.
