Ranger Race

I was just wondering what race would be a good choice for a good aligned ranger. I dont want to do the betrayal quest but if one evil race is a much better ranger than a good race I'll do the betrayal.

Any race will do for any class. Choose based on your own asthetic preference, for example, "I think wood Elf Rangers are cliche", or "I think Human Rangers are the coolest looking".

You will not lose anything nor will you gain anything by picking one race instead of another for any class.

As a "real world" example - I made a ratonga scout solely so that I betray with him and make him a swashbuckler... the ONLY reason I did it is because I think the idea of a rat-swashy is just too cool to pass up!

Oh, btw - there are no bad aligned rangers, so you didn't need to indicate that you wanted to make a good aligned one!

Thanks a bunch, I didnt start the game yet, waiting for my new computer components to arrive, and i stopped eq about a year ago after gettng my monks epic. I was just interested in a couple classes and wanted to know if there was a real advantage one race/class combo had over another. Thanks again for the info.
