I have found many parafin wax sealed documents that say take them to a powerful scouts guild. I have found the mages, monks, rangers, and others but, where is this scouts guild that I can take these to???

I have found the tree house but nothing seemed to happen. I am an extreme noob and don't know what I am doing. I found a similar item that i took to the Mage guys and they gave me a quest (a writ i am assuming). No one in the tree house seemed to want the thing. Am i just talking to the wrong guy or am I just such a noob that i don't even know what a writ is. I have been tasked to kill a bunch of skellies by a ranger outside the tree house but how do i know if itis a writ and not a quest? I think it is just a quest. I know you get tired of the noob Q's but i would really appreciate the help.

A writ is just a quest that will pay off in personal status points instead of coin/xp/item rewards. And yes, the same people that give out writs will take the items you found and exchange them for status points. The trick is, you need the right guy for each tier of drops - the tier 3 guy doesn't want your tier 2 stuff etc.

Here are the 4 guys in Qeynos who do sealed documents:

Turn in to the Arbos Tree (Tunarian Alliance), The Elddar Grove
Tier 2 (Paraffin-Sealed): Wanderer Greencoast - Awards coin and 100 GSP each
Tier 3 (Tallow-Sealed): Naturalist Tummyfill - Awards coin and 200 GSP each
Tier 4 (Gel-Sealed): Shepher Sell'ar - Awards coin and 300 GSP each
Tier 5 (Beeswax-Sealed): Preservationist Reynolds - Awards coin and 400 GSP each
