A friend of mine recently bought a US copy of EQ2.. After choosing the appearance of his character, he saw that the Splitpaw server wasn't available on the list..? I assumed, through this information I read on the official site, that US versions of EQ2 could enter into these 'International' servers, such as Runnyeye and Splitpaw.
I myself should receive a British copy of the game shortly, am I to see the Splitpaw server on the list of servers with my copy?
This is a quote from 'International FAQ' off the official EQ2 site:
"Is the UK version of EverQuest II different from the U.S. version?
The UK version of EverQuest II is the same as the U.S. version and will connect to the same English-language servers."
Any information will be appreciated, even if its to verify that Splitpaw is indeed on the server selection screen. Thank you.

The US servers are actually in a separate list from the international servers, you don't see all the servers together.
When you first go to log in, there's a drop down menu in the bottom left hand corner where you choose US or UK version.

I had that problem when I started to play again recently. I created a char on the Oggok server when the game was released, but when I started again, the game only gave me two possible servers, 'Splitpaw' and 'Runneyeye'. It gave me a scare as I already had a 27 pallie and feared that I lost it.
But indeed, when you get the first screen, make sure that the dropmenu is set on english (UK), that most likely will cause two 'accept' screens for a US version of the game. If you have a British copy of the game, it should start automatically set on the good servers.
