Kao gave permission to use Kao's Minions or Minions of Kao as our guild name.

That's great news! And since an apostrophe might be an issue within the game naming convention, I would say "Minions of Kao" is the one... besides MoK has a better ring to it than KM !

Tradeskills are going to be very important early on. We can all make everything till lvl 10 but nobody will be < 10 for very long. I'd say our top priorities are all three spell makers and a provie . Armor and weapons kinda take care of themselves early on although a tailor (for bags) and a carpenter (for boxes) would be nice.

I guess we're committed to beginning in both cities with the guild starting in Quenos (since the baddies are betraying). What is the time frame for you guys moving to Q?

We also need to discuss how the good folk can assist in getting the bad folk over the hump and into the light...

Once we all get about level 15 we'll start it, maybe a week or 2. And whats your char's name?

well ****! I wanted to be a shadowknight... Going to start over and make a different character lol.

hmmm what do i wish to play now... already got a ranger. cant be assassin.. druids are tree hugging hippies.. i hate being a healer. *shrugs*

Hmmm... instead of betrayal, maybe you could take that character to 20 and then just "move" to a better neighborhood.

I truly hate Freeport. The whole town is dismal and agnst ridden!

As far as classes go, I'll be happy to roll up another warden. I am having so much fun with my main that I'd be happy to move through the progression again! Regarding a char name, still don't have one... but it's in there rattling around in the cavernous space that used to house OBD's gray matter!

I'm shooting for starting my char on Sunday. Just been too busy with other things... I'll post back when I do...

Absolutely, post count is not an issue. the "requirement" (such as it is) is that you be a member of this community and with a name in red, I would have to say you more than qualify. Please join us.

"I'm your Huckleberry" - Even with TB, Val is teh hot Smiley: inlove

So, one quick question. (well, maybe a couple)

Sunday is the designated day? And we are mostly going to be "good"? And we are picking whichever class we want? And is Santa real?

Sunday is the designated day?

That was sort of the original plan although no specific time was ever discussed or decided upon. And several folks jumped the gun and rolled up toons on Fri or Sat... oh, well... best laid plans and all that rot!

I think so, but again, this is all happening rather quickly and I don't really have a good handle on the facts yet.

Yes, you can be whatever class race and gender you prefer. In addition, you may modify the model's facial features, hair color etc however you choose. (Just thought I'd throw that in!)

Quote:
And is Santa real?

Yes, however the elves are not. The elves are all WAY too busy clearing mobs in Norrath to waste time in indentured servitude with that tub!

Ummm... I can't speak to his degree of "hot", as I am of the same gender as he and not wired that way... however, I can agree that it was one of his finer roles...

(edit for spell check)

I hear Santa's cheap anyway. Good for the elves.

What's the normal playing times? [with time zones]

KuraiDeuce, if you're just reinstalling it, copy the old installation on top of the old one [I just rename the old EQ2 folder, reinstall EQ2. Delete/rename the new folder and then rename the old folder].

Can I be a provisioner?

I was up late on Friday getting my wood elf to lvl 6+ and lvl 7 Artisan.

Has there been an day/time set for us to get together?

Is the guild formed yet? Who do I see about joining?
