There arn't many raiding zones for that level realy, only one that I know of and have done is BSV in CL, but its more for lower 20's high teens.

But splitpaw will go to the lvl of your group. Might be a good investment to get it then?

You'll probably find there are not many zones in that area that are set as raid zones. Meaning, lots of mobs, tough boss, great loot drops.

Keep in mind that when you form a raid (2 or more groups) all exp and loot is turned off, unless a mob is raid-flagged.

I formed a raid for a 3-hour NPC camp in Nek Forest and we killed it, only to find out that the mob was not raid-flagged, and no-one got quest credit. Had to disband into 1 group and camp all over.

With any zone, make sure you research the beastiary to ensure mobs inside are raid-flagged. Otherwise, it will be all for nought.

Try these:
Fallen Gate
Firemyst Gulley
Stormhold (although not a "raid" zone, it has good mobs)
Splitpaw Raid Instance
Rivervale (mobs in the 40's)

I did not know that about raid monsters having to be flagged. That can suck! HAH. I remember my very first raid... It was on crushbone! Good times in EQ1 good memories

If you go to FG, you should see an option that says Epic Encounter. There is also an epic mob in TS. I had the pleasure of running into this one. Going on a nice leisurely shard run. Doh-de-doh...WHAM!!! Grimfeather has killed you.

God I love this game!

Another nice epic mob in T-Steppes is Doomsguall. He/she/it is a lvl 35 - 2 X group mob. Uaually hangs out around Giant alley and the Ruins of Karanas. Enjoy!

Anyone know of any other epic mobs around TS or Nek or anywhere that are around 25-30..?

The Unearthed Scions quest in Stormhold involves killing some epic mobs; they're around level 23. I've never tried it myself, but I have been (very quickly) killed by one of the scions. Smiley: grin Actually, that's one of the more amusing experiences I've had in this game.

I just found another Epic in TS. She is a centie that roams around the griffon fields. Braegana the Spearmaiden, or something to that effect. She is a lvl 25 x2 epic and non-aggro. We tried her with a group of 6. Got her down to yellow before all hell broke loose. It was a great time. Nice fight to break the monotony while waiting for Bloodtalon to spawn.
