Trying to buy anything from broker and it will not let you purchase it no matter what. Anyone else's server like that?
#2 Aug 11 2005 at 1:24 AM Rating: Good
ALL the servers are Aen, you can buy things that someone is selling while online, but offline selling is busted.

Personally, I think that when they patched to stop the plat duping scheme, they broke the brokers!

I think the 2 events are connected. Since at least one earlier duping ploy went through the broker system, seems logical that someone else found a ***** in the armor.

Having the broker down absolutely stinks!!!

Can't sell my beautiful paintings and actually had to go out to the enchanted lands and harvest. Yes, Physical Grunt work. Can you believe that!!

Wonder how long its going to be down? Anyone know? Maybe after the server update this morning?!?!?

Look at the bright side, Aen... if the broker is broken, no one else can buy that beautiful bow or dashing dagger out from under you. Should still be there when the feature is fixed!

What is this, some kinda "glass half empty" conversation?

If you need money, get your pointy eared butt out to Thundering Steppes and KILL SOMETHING!!!

At lvl 20 you could be ripping up the place! Trapper Borgus will give you a repeatable quest to kill critters for him, (he's a lazy cuss!). You can find it HERE

At your level the critters are soloable, the loot is nice and the cash payout is grand! All the stuff he asks for can be found along the coast road which runs to the pier. Nothing there is aggro so it's like a picnic with weapons!

The barby on the pier, (Brant Omannus), will also give you a repeatable quest for the same critters, (if you speak Halasian). You can see it HERE

You can easily double up and collect twice for each kill.

You are gonna LOVE being a ranger! Grats on the sub-class quest btw. If you haven't been there yet, you should also love T-Steppes. Until last night it was my favorite zone... (when a buddy took me to Enchanted Lands... and now that's my fav!)

I am really looking foward to going to a new zone. I got all the places memorized in Antonica right now. I dont even have to look at the map. I know every tree and what evil lurks behind it :D I guess that is part of being a ranger :) Just loaded up the game on the other screen and about to delve into the world!~

Our level 20 fluff spell is a "pet" of sorts called "Phyn's Hunting Hawk". You can purchase the spell from one of the merchants up in the tree house in Eldaar Grove. Cost is under 20 silver, iirc.

You cast it and you get a hawk that will follow you around. Bad news is that he won't pull or attack mobs for you. You get a pet window that looks just like the one the finger wigglers get but most of the controls are grayed out. Some folks claim that if you work it just right, he will draw aggro from you and take one for the team while you escape. I have not yet found this to be true!

One other thing to note, He will not follow you while you take a griffon ride. You will have to dismiss him first. Enjoy, ranger!

Off topic, but I have seen this abbreviation and don't know what it means (sometimes, I'm dumb)

iirc

What does that mean?
