What Kind of Live Event Would You Like to See?Follow

Maybe I'm on at odd hours, but I haven't seen much of anything for live events.

I read a while back about players that would stumble across a NPC who would ask for help, players would interact, etc.

I remember a live event in EQ1 where waves of skeletons would appear and wreak havoc. The boss would drop some nice Lore loot. Eventually the spawn points were camped so everyone could get their share.

I'd like to see something like that again, but in each scale of zone. Meaning, in Antonica/Commonlands level 10-20 mobs come out. In TS it would be levels 20-30, etc.

At least some live interaction with GM's would be interesting and break up the grind. Maybe something that involved lore, timed race, scavenger hunt, or guess what's in my pockets.

I personally liked the drunken race in EQ! That was sooooo much fun.

I also liked the PvP arena events they held. Though you didn't stand much chance if you were a low level, they were still a blast to be a part of.

This might just be me, and I might get flamed for this one, but I would like to see....a dance contest!!! I know everyone in this forum has done a /dance or a /shimmy or a /heelclick and nearly wet yourselves from lauging so hard! How fun would that be? Anyone, anyone?

I would like to see a live combat/crafting event.

A GM has set up a crafting area in part of the zone, but it's surrounded by new mobs. The party must punch through the mobs to get to the central crafting area. The artisan then begins a long process to craft something that is needed to kill the boss.

The party must keep the crafter alive so he/she can finish the item.

Once done or the timer has expired, the ^^boss with various resists spawns and battles the party.

They can whittle it down but only kill it with the special crafted item.

This adventure can be done for any level range, with appropriate crafting skills to match.

Hey, we need to do something to get the artisans out in the sunlight. :)
