There is a new kind of loot it seems. Looted antique treasure for example (badge of honor). What is it for? Only Vendor loot or can i do something with it i just can't see right now?
Its not the GSP loot. Does anybody know something about this "treasure" things? I really need to know, my bank was allready full without that stuff. ;-)

i was wondering the same thing. it appears to be just vendor trash, but i've asked a few times in-game and no one seems to know anything about it. good to see them adding new loot though, i like how this game actually gets interesting updates.
but why would they take out mob body parts (update12 said monsters drop money instead of disgusting body part like zombie brains and clump of maggots etc.) and replace it with this new type of loot........hmmmmmm..........
honestly the the old loot was a bit more realistic.

It is loot that you can turn in for guild points. Here is a thread talking about it.
As far as mobs droping money instead of loot it depends on the mob, several mobs still drop body parts. Just today while working on my enc I got teeth from some fish and animal skins.

The money drop kinda annoys me though. At least mages in EQ2 are a bit less wimpier than in EQ1 and don't have to drop copper all over the place.
*Wasn't it fun, dropping coins in a line.. from the Kelethin main elevator straight to a Deathfist Centurion? Or coming across a mountain of loot and coin, looting it then waiting a minute to see who would log in looking for it?

Well the stuff for turnin on SP will say to visit mage. warrior, scout etc. Some of the stuff can be used in making things, and the rest seems to be vender trash but you know Everquest it changes on a day to day base.

Dirges your wrong there are status dropped items, but that badge hes talkngi about and several other things are not worth any status and their use is unknown. The status things have the same names as the rare rock of the same tier. For instance Ruby Scrying Stone, Ebon Relic, are both t5 status items, and (insert name here) documents are status items example: Parrafain sealed document.
