Pulled from a post that was pulled from the SOE boards:

Sesketh's Guild Status Loot Guide of Tasty Goodness
( Brought to you by the Letter 3 and the Number Green. Fnord. )

Friends:

This is my humble and ongoing effort to provide some kind of guide regarding the Live Update 12 Guild Status Loot situation. Please, if you see anything in this guide that is erroneous or requires clarification, don't hesitate to PM or post! Also, there are quite a few blanks, as I wanted to get this up, and will edit it as information is gathered. If you can provide a fill-in to any blanks, again, PM or post!

GENERAL
To turn in a Guild Status Loot item, find your item in the chart below and then go to the corresponding political faction operative. (These are your "writ givers," so you already know where to look for these folks if you're an active guildie!) Right-click on the NPC and select "sell to merchant."

If you have correctly matched the item and the NPC, you will see in addition to a coin value, that the NPC will pay you a certain amount of Guild Status Points, or GSP, indicated in bright green on your sales interface. Please note that this can be a little misleading if you don't approach this with the right mentality. The "GSP" awarded is, in fact, personal status, just like the completion of a Heritage quest. The amount of actual Guild Status Points awarded to your organization will be calculated in precisely the same way as the completion of a writ or Heritage quest, which is:

Personal Status awarded ÷ Number of Guild Patrons* = Actual Guild Status awarded

* NOTE: This variable in this equation cannot be less than 12, even if the actual number of patrons in the guild is less than 12. This is why it is generally said that a guild with less than twelve active patrons is at a "disadvantage."

Selling Guild Status Loot does not, in fact, award GSP directly to the progress bar of your guild. Throughout this document "GSP" is used as that is what is displayed on the merchant screen, but this should really be displayed in-game as "PSP." This has been confirmed by a number of reputable players. (And some disreputable ones like yours truly! J/K) I hope this clarifies the concerns that have been expressed throughout the forums. That said...

Tier 2 guild status loot items yield 100 GSP each.
Tier 3 guild status loot items yield 200 GSP each.
Tier 4 guild status loot items yield 300 GSP each.
Tier 5 guild status loot items yield 400 GSP each.

Additionally, each item rewards coin, but the amount of coin offered varies greatly from report to report, so it seems. Some people report only 2c for Tier 5 items, while I've been given 3s and change on Tier 4 items. I'll do some research, more on this to follow.

"Tier 1" is omitted here, as Tier 1 and Tier 2 writs are identical. Tier 1 will be added to all levels if it is found that any of these items do, in fact, drop in Tier 1 zones and are different from those that drop in Tier 2 zones. There is apparently so-called "Tier 6" GSP look that can be turned in for 500 GSP each. This has been reported several times. Clarification on where these items is forthcoming in a near-future edit.

Turning in GSP loot does not affect political faction standing. This has been confirmed by several players on the Faydark server.

The hand-ins are very specific. Maybe you're going to the correct faction person but the wrong Tier?

Well I have found that the information for the turn ins for the scrying stones and amulets is backwards. (at least for the qeynos side). I was able to turn in Scrying stones to Pupil Adept Wazzlefop and was able to turn in Amulets to Caretaker Nogfizzle. SO hopefully this information helps.. Also the tier2 scrying stones and amulets are both Coral in name.

Pardon me. But I think this should be bumped back to the top. I found this very useful and thought some of the newere peeps might need to see this.

I have a question about the coral amulet. It doesn't mention them above but I think they are tier 2. No matter who I go to (and I have been to everyone in the area more than once) I can't sell them for status. I thought maybe it was a bug at the time but now I am not sure. I have it says the same thing that the jasper amulet says when you examine it.

I have had it for several weeks and still can't find a decent taker. Has anyone else had this problem?

For Zoo:

I had this same exact problem. No one in the Temple of Life will take it. However, there is an NPC standing right outside the wall, under a tree, that will.

I think he means that when you turn them in for guild status you only get a few copper.

But if you take them to any other merchant, you may get 20s+. And if you have a few stacks of these things, that can add up to several gold.

I think the vender only pays a few coppers for T1 nad the T2 ones the T3 and up you may get 1 or 2 silver for. At any rate selling to other peeps gets the cash 50s each is still better then 20s in my books the T4 and T5's can go for several gold each to someone who really wants the SP.

A vendor in Starcrest Commune offers me about 23s for T5 writs. I'm sure desparate guild members will buy them from the broker for 1g+.
