what lvl do you have to be to complete AQ1

You have to be 20 to start it and you can finish it whenever you get the mobs killed

I would like to add to Marvpur's excellent information above. We found that the Foci on the East and the 2 Foci on West side of the river near the ocean produced the same results. That is, kill 4 mobs of Restless Caltorsites very close to the Foci and then 4 or 5 Plagubringer Acolytes pop in a few seconds after the 4th mob. Wait for one of the Plagubringer to summon her pet before smacking them.

This particular portion of the quest was necessary to fulfill the requirements for Mystic and Berserker armour quests.

Be careful when spawning the acolytes as one of the groups could well contain a named. The guy has bucket loads of power, my group lost all power before his even hit half and we didnt have enough dps to finish him quickly. With a balanced group should be manageable.

AQ3 in Stormhold:
Feign zombies spawn in room with library entrance. 4 single ^^ 23(ish) mobs at about 10 minute intervals.
Strongboxes are south of the atrium or better still (as its near the feigns) in a room off the library. Can get all 8 here in one go.

AQ4 Crypt of Betrayal:
Personally i hate this zone, died more times here than all other zones put together - anyway...
Shrillers, diseased corpses and scarabs all near southern entrance. All 21-23 ^^ single mobs.

I recommend you skip the AQ series all together. The armor you get is useful for only a few levels, as the mobs you graduate to will chew through it.

You can get much better player-made armor from the broker, and with a myriad of crafters, the prices are reasonable, if not down-right cheap.

Player-made armor will last you much longer and you can get items with specific stat boosts that suit you.

I did the AQ on my first toon, and that was the last time. By the time I got to AQ6, the AQ1 item was nearly useless.

But if you're poor and can't seem to gather a copper, then the AQ is for you.

From the upcoming Live Update 18:
Quote:
*** Subclass Armor Quests ***

- The armor rewards for the level 20 subclass armor quests now have a unique appearance per subclass.
- All of the armor now has unique stats appropriate for each subclass.
- If you have already completed your armor quests, speak with the assistant next to the NPC you originally did the quests for.
