Is the "root" spell in this game?

I used to play EQ1 for about 2 years. Then i switched to SWG and been in there ever since. Think I'm gonna drop it after seeing this EQ2 so far. My halfling druid in EQ1, that was his favorite spell I think. Was wondering if it is in this game.

No root for Droods but u do get snare, not sure when u get it as my beta drood was mid 20`s when the release spells went into the game but i`d guess high teens

I don't know about druids, or any of the priest classes. I do know that the mage types get a line of spells starting with "Arcane Bindings" or something like that, which is basically a root spell.

There's a wide variety of roots in the game, but I don't know if priests get any. Root is considered "crowd control" which is primarilly a mage archetype function.
