ANYONE's CHARACTER DISAPPEAR???Follow

i may get banned from ever posting here again BUT I AM SOOOO PISSED OFF!!!! I spent ALOT OF HARD EARNED MONEY to play this game... not just the game but nearly $700 in computer upgrades and my character on the Oasis server has just gone POOF! buh-bye... its DAMN WELL GONE! DISAPPEARED!!!! I know its only lvl 9... but damnit.. 3 days of my ***** life to get him there... and was almost finished the class-selection quest when it happened... im staring at a "Create Character" screen... HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE??? ARRRRGH!!!!!!

Uh yeah...chances are the server is just down. This happened to me on another server yesterday. Characters don't show up on server select screen when the server is down.

As hard as it may be right now, just calm down and wait a bit.
Things like this always happen after a game launches. It's hard sometimes, but you don't really have any other choice but to wait.

There's also a post on the official EQ2 forum that says the same thing (characters on servers that are down don't appear at character select), so that may ease you a bit as well. Maybe.

Here is a link that Blackguard assures you of the situation about characters disappearing... It applies to all servers, not just AB. Seems like a reoccurring theme...

This post is a proof that people can't read and do research..........................my faith in humanity has been falling short these past few weeks.

It happened to me today as well. Thought I was going to have a heart attack. But then found out that the server was down. When I checked back a couple hours later, server was back up and my characters were there. No need to worry as I'm sure it's happened to a lot of us, they will return.
