Question about Ranged Weaponry.Follow

I cannot seem to find anyone selling a bow in-game. With myself desiring to be a ranger, I crave the usefullness of this weapon.

I've found throwing knives, axes, shurikens, ect...

I choose Qeynos as my starting city, I am currently doing my citizenship quest and am stationed in Willowood.

Any help would be appreciated!

The quested bow mentioned earlier would be Bryson's Bow or something like that, IIRC. In beta there were a few people that sold bows in the game, though I haven't made it to Qeynos yet to check it out. They were named "Bowyer ~name~here~".

When you get into it, you'll find that bows are bit a different in EQ2... they are basically artillery. Heavy hitting, but slow, and damn expensive to fire. Cheapest arrow I found was around 2c, but they didn't put those in until close to the end of beta. For an example of damage, I seem to remember Bryson's Bow hitting for something like 25-110 with 7.0 second delay. It was great for my warrior to pull with. =)
