Housing question for the beta testersFollow

#1 Nov 11 2004 at 9:02 AM Rating: Decent
While exploring Freeport, I noticed alot of rooms at inns that could be purchased. Most cost money and status points to purchase and upkeep.

First quest, what are status points and how do they work in regards to the upkeep of an aparatment? Second question, are the inn rooms instanced so many people can use the same door to enter their room? Or are the inn rooms first come first serve like the big guild houses?

Joining a guild will allow you to perform "City Task" quests which reward you (and your guild, if you're a patron) with status. You can "spend" your status to get price discounts on certain things like housing and mounts, but you can obtain all of those without joining a guild. You just have to pay it all in cash.

ok. I think I understand. Its not money AND status, its money OR status. Makes sense.

Well, there are usually two identical versions sold. One costs a pile of cash. The other costs a lot less cash and a pile of status points. You end up with the same thing, but you have to choose which way you're paying for it.
