We are investigating the current issues with all live servers. We ask for your patience while we work on this, and thank you for bearing with us.

Your characters are not gone. They may not display when the server is currently down.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Enclosed is a check for $0.04 for the two hours that you missed playing this month. Please enjoy playing Everquest 2 more this month.

Thank you,
SOE Team

P.S. Due to the 10,000 letters we had to send out this month with a check for $0.04, we have raised the subscription fee to $16.00 a month. Thank you for your time.

Isn't it free for the first month? Or is that some special offer I'm enjoying?

Honestly, this is a lot smoother than most MMO releases. Star Wars, from what I hear, wasn't up for more than 2 hours a day in the first week. (ok, maybe exagerating, but it was a lot worse.)

As for FFXI being smooth, that doesn't count. It was out for a year before we even got to it. Smiley: tongue

No....no it was no exaggeration...

This launch is very smooth, and being in the game industry in a technical support capacity, I can tell you the amount of bugs found so far in something this complex are surprisingly low (especially skipping open beta).

I am certain a blood sacrifice was offered up to dark powers...likely virgin or unicorn blood. Yeah...only way to explain it...

Or the blood of Smedly... You can't get any darker than that. Smiley: tongue

Haha i've had EQ2 installed for 2 days now, and have had about thirty minutes of updates, and was booted *THRICE* for maintenance, or other technical difficulties.

I do have to hand it to these guys though, they did maintenance at 3:00 AM PST and it was 4 hours, that is the *perfect* time, IMO, for English servers to go down.

Do you think the Dark gods are those mutant squirrel thing in the forest outside Castview? Those things are scary perhaps they are a dark version of Carbuncle so ya don't have to get Fenrir and they would be more powerfull than a Fenrir summon :/ Weeeeeeeeeeeee for Veterans day bordum of no school.
