Best Mage Class?Follow

In your opinion, what is the best mage class, and who has the better mage, good or evil? My plans are to either make a Warlock, or a Summoner....Plan on soloing a bunch, due to my job and school, which would be the best for a casual solo player?

Really don't want to group :) Want a powerful solo class, that I can farm with later on heh, but thanks for your insight, that is a great point.

I got a warlock to 25 in beta and loved it. I'll be playing one again, but right now I'm having too much fun with my bard.

Although summoners classes were a bit unbalanced in beta, they seem to be working on this. Either the Sorcerer or Summoner branches are both good spell-casting solo'ers. Warlocks, Wizards, Necros, and Conjurers should be pretty good since they all get some great nukes, dots, and slows/roots. Enchanters however, are much more mediocre at damage and are really stuck in groups for the most part (but they could solo I just find the others to be much easier to).

From what I see, Warlock is an awesome class, that is probably what I'm going to quest for, I like the fact that I can stay in Queynos, yet still have that bit of evil in me :)
