Well there is a simple way to avoid that. Don't create useless threads!
I don't want this forum to turn into the FFXI forum. That's all. I think a casual "boo" is hardly a terrible thing to do.
I rated it down for being irrelevant. We're supposed to be rating things down that we don't want to see. I'd rather see some useful and informative threads at this point in the process. If you want to rate them back up, then obviously you care more about ratings than useful and informative threads.
