I definitely thought about it! Wound up sick early yesterday and today and am just hoping I'll be able to get a copy when I hit the store in the morning tomorrow. I took off the whole week of Thanksgiving and plan to play as much as possible (maybe even on Turkey day if my wife will allow it) :-)

I took off two hours; Gamestop called to say it was in and I picked up a left. The extra time to install the game, make sure I got the JBoots and little need to "rush" through the Island of Refuge was very welcome.

I picked up the game at lunch, but had to return to work. I can wait, since I played in beta the last 2 weeks.

nope..no time off ..

at least, not yet.. see I horde my vacation time like a miser.. right now I have 60 Hours of vacation and I have to use 30 hours of it or loose it..

so I see myself taking about a week off at the end of the year. 5 days of gaming goodness in addition to having the holidays off... so it'll come to roughly 8 days of gameplay.

it's all in the planning.

I really wanted to but couldn't. Too many deadlines to meet right now before the holiday shutdown.

My wife and I actually took the 10 - 12 off to go on vacation. Now she can't go because of work, so i guess I will have to find something to do! :)

EQ2 - gota luv it!

Deadlines? I got lots of em, but EQ2 comes first and my boss will understand. Anyway, if I get fired that's more time to play. Win win situation.

I lost a job to EQ in my younger days so of course I took time off for this one!

I took an extra day off this week but it was originally so that I could recover from the Dungeons and Dragons game I'm starting this Friday. Now I know I'm just gonna waste it playing EQ2. Still, going to be weird to be one of a few people who doesn't devote their Friday night to either EQ/EQ2 or trying to get laid.

Then again, with the gaming community where I live, being a GM could just do the latter for me... hmm...

Well seems like a few people at my work will probably be hearing about my sudden back problems that are handily hard to verify thanks to EQ2.

Yup, I have 5 days off starting this Friday. I couldn't get the first half of the week off, but should get some serious game time in come Firday!

I didn't take any EXTRA time off. However, my wife works for a bank so she had thursday off already. So I scheduled thursday off as well some time ago. Then I found out from my boss last week (I was still not thinking much about EQ2 since I thought it would be out on the 15th at the time) that I needed to use some vacation time soon or I would lose it (I get a crazy 22 days/year while my wife gets a pathetic 10 days, kinda sucks for her). So I took Friday off as well. So since I had Friday off, and my wife had worked like 60 hours a week for a month straight she was able to get her boss to Comp her friday off as well.

So despite taking no EXTRA time off for this game I seem to have found myself with a 4 day weekend, a wife who plays EQ2, and nothing to do but play EQ2, Halo 2, MOHPA, LOTR: The Third Age, and GTA:SA. I just KNOW I am going to get SO BORED this weekend with so little to do. :)

We didnt. Last time we took a few days off we spent them running around town to get a copy of the FFXI expansion.
Glad we didn't take any since our copies that we DID preorder aren't here yet :)
A three days week end showed up tho, good news, I hope :D
