Has anyone recived thier pre-ordered game yet? Mine still says its being full filled, not shipped. You would think that those people that went to the trouble of preordering would have recived the game already, and were able to get started on launch day. Or at the least, the game could have been shipped today, and be in transit.

UUGHHH! I guess i'm just impatient lol. I WANNA PLAY!!!!!

Well, today was the "Shipping On" day, last I checked. So while I would love to get my copy today, I probably won't see it until Tuesday at least.

does yours actually say its been shipped?

Actually, I ordered at my local GameStop. But from what I understand today was the official shipping date for the game. So, while it is technically the 8th (2:49AM here), I don't know that they will have actually shipped them yet.

edit> And if you go to the everquest2 main site, you'll see a countdown, listing the "available" date as the 9th. So, if you get it before Tuesday, you'll be very fortunate.

if you ordered overnight shipping it should arrive on day of release, ie when someone with game installed can actually log in.
any other forms will be post release date i believe.

I ordered mine through Sony and received an e-mail tonight that its been shipped. Since its Sunday it'll probably technically go out tomorrow, but since its being shipped second day air I'm hoping to have it by Wednesday. I loved the Beta, so can wait to play a toon that won't get wiped :P

I'm just so excited to finally start playing. I'm picking up a headset today, since my guild uses a ventrillo server for OOC chat. (We're an RP guild.) That should be a rather new experience for me. :O

I have a ups tracking number for mine. If you preordered it through SOE, it should ship on the 8th and arrive after that time based on what shipping you paid for. I paid for next day air, so mine will be at my house on the 9th.

I ordered mine by SOE and it is shipped since today, its already in the netherlands even. So I'll have it tomorrow I think.

I don't remember if I got overnight shipping or not. But my shipping cost is just under $8.00, so i'm thinking I did.

You gotta be kidding me. I'm really not trying to flame you but some people on these forums post the absolute dumbest things. A preorder doesn't mean they send you the game before its actually released. You get your copy at the same time everyone else does. Preordering has its benefits like the Journeyman's Boots for example being exclusive to preorderers. Getting your game before anyone else is NOT one of the benefits.

P.S. - Isn't it just lovely of SoE to not tell us that the Journeyman's Boots you get by preordering arent the ONLY Journeyman's Boots in the game? In fact you can get a better pair in the actual game than you get from preordering. Thanks for the "leaving that small detail out" SoE. You never fail us.

Actually what I think is really dumb, is the use of the term FLAME. Who came up with that? I imagime a group of kids sitting around doing something stupid like getting stoned and comming up with that term. Now that is STUPID.

The main purpose of preordering, is to be sure you have the game on or by launch date. Yet in my case, it looks like some people are going to be able to just walk into a store and get it before Sony even ships mine out. My point is that I paid for mine in advance, and Sony has droped the ball, again, and not held up thier end of the bargin.

Also, I don't care about the boots. Sure I will use them, but i wanted the pet Dragon, and the other things that come with the Collectors Edition. Haveing a lil dragon to come home to would be kinda cool.

I'm such a sucker for those kinds of things. LOL

Well, after looking into my pre-order status, I found this on Gamestop.com

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently taking orders for EverQuest II Collector's Edition to ship on Wednesday November 10th.
EverQuest II is a parallel online universe to the hugely successful gaming phenomenon EverQuest. Featuring breathtaking graphics and a vast, beautiful game world to explore, EverQuest II sets new standards in graphical realism as players are immersed in the game's epic storyline with thousands of other players online.

A monthly subsription fee is required to play online. Requires a DVD ROM drive to play

Which makes me wonder why I would pre-order a game if it wasn't going to ship the day of the release?? I guess I'm a dumbass and should have just went to the store and bought it. Silly me thinking pre-ordeing would be faster than buying in the stores... Duh...

I have to agree. If I knew the preorders would not be shipped on time, I would have waited too.

I got this message from the SontStor on the 5th.

Thank you once again for your recent purchase at the Station Store. This email is being sent to confirm your order and inform you that your merchandise is now in stock.

I made the preorder in early october, you would think they would have moved on it a little faster. Hired some Temps to help with the shipping and all that.

My GF and I pre-ordered two copies of the Collectors' Edition on Sunday in Toronto. there seemed to be some issue as the clerk called the manager out to verify something, but was told to take our order. They did tell us it would not be in until Wednesday, but that's okay, one day longer to get the extra goodies is worth it.

What is scaring me now is that both the StationStore and ebgames.com are saying it is either sold out or not available. We put about half the full price down (up in Canada the Collectors' Ed cost about $125 Canadian with taxes), and I would hate to find out on Wednesday we cannot get it and they have no regular editions to give us ;(

Over the weekend I was in my local Gamestop where I preordered the collectors edition and the guy there told me that if I had not preordered the collectors edition then I would have to wait until the 10th to get it. He also told me to give a call on Monday (today) since they were expecting it in today. Guess I'll find out when I get out of work.

Where did you preorder your game from? It sounds (since you are talking about shipping) that you preordered it online. If you will look closer, you will see that in fact you have NOT paid for the game until it ships.

That's weird, i got my collector's edition waiting at my local Gamestop to be picked up at midnight, though i got my regular dvd version this afternoon from them via Fedex and have been playing it for awhile.I hope they get your copy to you asap, as any excuse they give you is bs.

As of right now, My game has STILL not been shipped. There is NO excuse for this lack of customer service. I just hope they get it in gear tomorrow.

I just thing changing it to the 9th was crap, TOday i was so excited when EBgames called me telling me that my EQ2 reservation just arrived, so i all excited fly over there and they only had the CD ROM ones, they didn't have the collectors edition that i ordered, so they told me "sorry" like that would help and it would be here tomorrow, this sucks since tomorrow i don't have a ride like i had today, i am so ****, i would probably have to drive my bike there =(, (i am 14, so i don't drive yet), i hate Ebgames, but from the other hand, i beat my friend in a bet that we made, who got it first, EBgames or Gamestop where he reserved the game.

I got a conforimation and tracking number, via email -post dated the 7th. Tracking number says shipped on the 8th, ETA to arrive on the 9th, via overnight. I'm slightly annoyed, since I only requested 2nd day, since overnight was like $3 more. I'm willing to bet they charged me for the extra too.

Same story here. Pre-ordered from SOE, and tracking says it'll be here on the 10th. My brother's says the 12th. Sure glad I PRE-ORDERED. L4m3.
