1) Banks, a long time ago I heard there would not be any banks.
If this is true do all your chars use the same house?
If not, and there are banks do all your chars share the
same bank.

2) Repairing items, Is this very costly?

3) For those in beta and play grouped how often do people use
HOs? (the group ones)

That's from a VERY, VERY old release. Yes, there are banks, and yes, your items are persistent between all the banks. Originally it was planned that there would be banks, but your items would only exist in the bank you placed them into. This has been changed and is no longer the case.

Has anyone seen a list of servers yet? Think they will use the same list from EQlive?

The banks are there and they are shared. But not completely, Banks in Freeport are accessed anywhere in Freeport. Banks in Queynos are accessed anywhere in queynos. This means no sharing between good and evil characters.
You can get one apartment for all of your characters. What you can do in your apartment is very limited. Basically your apartment is the new bazaar where you set up market. So far you can only furnish your apartment. You can't store items there.
As far as Grp HO's it is a matter of people learning how to use them and not spamming over them and just hitting combat buttons. It is all a matter of learning your class well. So I think this will happen at later lvl's. I mostly have used the HO's for soloing. I would be really hard to solo without them. I hope this answer your questions.

This is an edit about the apartments. You get an apartment for each character free for a week and quest that have to be done as part of a tutorail. After the first week you start paying rent. I have one apartment inside Freeport for 3 of my characters. And when EQ2 goes live plan on sharing a house with 2 more people to cut down on cost since all an apartment is, is a place to sell stuff. And can't be used for TSing or storage. Didn't mean to sound like you are only allowed one apartment per account just more cost effective that way.;)

when Tanwena said you get one apt for all your characters, it sounded like you only get one apt for all your characters...They each have their own apt...The banking is true..no shared bank between good and evil char...They are planning on putting a bank type slot in your apt, later in the game...this will give you greater storage space for the extra things that you accumulate....The bank slots are small and so are the bags...but tradeskilling allows you to make larger bags and they can be quested as well...Anxious for the added storage in the rooms...And this will only be accessable within the room..not from the regular bank...

Thanks alot guys. Those questions have been bothering me for awhile, its a shame the HOs in group are going to be so difficult to use. I guess if you had a small group. like of 3 people it may be easier to pull those off. Anyone know if you have to get a full group to stand a chance in the dungeons? or can ya go in with partial ones and survive?

I have done a couple low lvl dungeons Wailing Cave I did solo. Fallen Gate (Runes of Neriak, not so happy to be home) I had a grp of five. The grp was forming at the door along with 3 others. If this is any indication of how easy it will be to get a grp in EQ2. I'll be happy with the change. I have to say that I am having fun with this game.
And just a comment on my about my last post. I think that when people learn how to use HO's they will be more useful.
I myself watch for them to pop and use the right skill to move forward in the chain. It's just a matter of communacation and learning what each class can do with HO's. Not every class can take part in every HO.
Like said before it's going to be a matter of people learning there class roles and not just hitting buttons.
