It's the little things that break the immersionFollow

You know, the innocent, but odd things that just make you scratch you head and say, "wait, what?"

Things like this, for example. (Technically a spoiler for the level 50+ ninja quests I suppose, but not really.)

I mean, really? They couldn't have made that NPC any other class?


Anyone else have examples of odd things like that?

Actually I beleive many things like that are flat out intentional. They want to remind people that it's a game and it's ok to make light of it sometimes. I'm not familiar with the Ninja quest line so I won't try to explain or putt off anything, but there are times when we do have to take a step back, laugh it off, and move on. Becoming upset at such things can be symptoms of OCD.

I mean, if we want to talk immersion breaking, let's play a Bethesda game.

I believe he tells you later on in the questline that he carries the axe around because it looks intimidating, but really he's got nothing in the way of combat ability.
