Hi, quit playing 2 years ago and was thinking of opening my account again.... just wondering whats the game like now? some say its dying.Any idea to start playing again? really loved DAoC back when i played hehe

I recently returned to the game myself after being away for 6 months. I love it, especially after being subjected to Guild Wars. (yuck!)

I'm still on hiatus (jsut hit the six month line) with no internet connection at home. I would never have quit except i moved and am not set up for it atm. Sometimes I still play on comming back. Dying is reletive for a game. The totyal population is down. WoW took a ton of people (some are slowly comming back) I tried alot of games but none have been as fun as daoc. I would think it's still worth it. I'll try the new servers in a month or two when I'm ready. Clustering seems to have picked up rvr on other servers well. I'll be back to nimue too! hehe someday

I too am returning after several years off, Ill be playing an Albion race on Palomides...

I think it will be nice to return now that the boom is over and the world populations shouldnt be too extreme.
