Don't know which has dps maxxed but sounds like you might like a hunter or thane. Hunter can use bow and spear (well swords too but most item skill +'s are for spear) and thanes are light tanks with ranged spells. I know tho my bonedancer (supp spec) does alot of his own tanking, using either lifetaps or the healer pet depending on what I am fighting. I mention that because even baseline darkness spells work well to soften the mob up, then I melee with the pets jumping in. Best bet is to start one and try, and if not quite what you want then re-roll as something else....bounce back and forth till you find what you want....
