Expansion questionFollow

This could possible be the Noob question of the year!

I'm generally bored with what I've been playing of late EQ, EQ2 etc.... thought I'd try a pvp game so i dug out an old copy of the original DAoC. Can you download the expansions or must you buy them in-store?

I've looked for the answer but for soem reason these ol eyes cant find it. :)))

If you only have the original game and not at least the Shrouded Isles expansion, you will need a more current game engine to play. The original game engine has been replaced.

So, if you have at least the SI expansion, just reload the game and reactivate your old account and your characters will be just as you left them. You will need to sit through 50+ megs of patches to play. :(

If you don't have the SI expansion, you can get a free 14 day trail of DAoC at the following site:

This contains the original game plus the SI expansion.
