Alright, I know what you are thinking. Somebody near and dear has left the game. Well, this is a bit deaper than that. I decided to post this here rather than the Fairy forum because I wanted to tell more than just the Fairy folk about this.

Today, I found out from my linkshell that the Fairy player Norvie has died, in real life. Apparently, he was playing a hockey game and collapsed, not breathing. He later died at the hospital.

I have known Norvie for a long while, ever since I joined the HCILS linkshell (now called Abandon). He didn't talk very much sometimes, but always did his best to show up for linkshell events. I never saw him once be mean, but always kind. He helped whenever he could, and tried his best at doing what he could. Whenever he did talk, it only made me more happy.

This thread is deticated to Norvie, one of the kindest people I have met on the Fairy server. Please, pray for his family and friends, and all who only knew him in game, like me. If you did know Norvie, you can post about him if you want.

Thank you for reading.

I played on Fairy before my shift to Hades. Although I never knew him, it is sad to hear that a fellow player has died. His family and friends are in my thoughts.

I'm sorry for your loss Lilani, and I'm sad to hear that a member of our community has passed away.

Sadly, it often takes someone's death before they are truly appreciated.

It doesn't bother me that he died-- everyone does. I just hope that he was happy in his life and I'm sorry I can't do more to ensure the same for all of you.

Please remember that everyone is someone's child. Everyone is loved by someone, even if it's not you. Please remember that the people close to you are not superior to the people who aren't simply for that reason.

What can I say? Don't mourn his loss. Reflect on ways in which you could have made his life better. People are often sad when a person dies because they feel ashamed for having taken that person for granted. Live your life knowing it may be nearing its end. Live your life knowing that the people around you are fragile and delicate-- they may also be near their end.

I didn't know the person, but it's sad to hear someone so kind and considerate's life was lost. Condolances to his friends and family.

I'm not good at this sort of thing, but you have my deepest sympathies. I hope that you have many fond memories of your friend.

While I didn't have the pleasure to get to know what sounds like a great person, his family and friends are in my prayers.

It's sad to lose anyone, but to know that a fellow gamer that I could have known close myself had been lost is something I think we can all feel for.

From all of Caithsith, just want you to know that he will be in my prayers tonight.
