I am not speaking of the scheduled maintenance today so much as the random downtime and login problems acknowledged by SE as being their fault. I called the customer service number one day, and politely asked to be reimbursed for the time I personally wanted to play, and was unable to, due to known issues on SE's end. They denied me. In fact it is stated in their ToS that they will do no such thing. Well I am tired of being treated like this; as a customer I don't believe I deserve it. SE is obviously not making a sufficient effort to keep their service available. Take a look at this list and you'll see how frequently these problems are occuring.
What am I going to do about it? What can you do if you feel the same way? Well, I found this page for a start. There appear to be some problems with the website atm, but I will be filing a complaint ASAP. I don't know how much good it will do, but maybe if enough people complain it will at least put some pressure on Square Enix.
