Focus Effects and Weapon Procs (TLP)Follow

Hey everyone,

I've recently returned to EQ for Phinny TLP server. I've been looking around and have found conflicting information on Improved Damage and weapon procs. I've seen the following theories posted:

A - ID has no effect on procs
B - ID only works on procs that are spells you can cast
C - ID works on all procs

Could someone clarify for me please?

Specifically, I want to get a focus that will work with a GhoulBane. The proc happens at lvl 20 and the spell is lvl 46 for a Paladin. If theory A is true, /thread. If theory B is true, I'm not sure if I would need DI2 (lvl20 proc) or DI3 (lvl 46 spell). If theory C is true, I'm still not sure if it would check the lvl based off of the proc, the paladin level of the spell, the cleric lvl of the spell, or something else.
