No one is getting paid to do the updates daily. Once upon a time (not that long ago) there were two full-time paid staff with that as part of their job description.

Volunteer admn doing the updating has been spotty, but we are also dealing with a long queue of updates to do that expires way faster from the window that shows us users submitted something than we can keep up with.

Said another way, every post in the correct spot is useful to others that look that item/npc/quest/zone etc. up. So everyone's contribution is helpful in keeping the site as current as possible. Quite often a missed update will be caught the next time someone updates that spot with a post --in fact I have caught updates missed from as far back as 2001 this way.

I recognize this isn't ideal, but it's what we have at this time.

I can say, I >usually< get more and better information from the comments. I don't ever look anything up without reading all of the comments on that page. I've always assumed everyone else does, too :)
