Unfortunatley no, thats not a cowboy hat. Its a helm with with spikes coming out the side I believe

This picture is showing the old character models. I had thought nearly everyone used the new models. I do.

I use new models on my desktop, and old models on my laptop.

I tried the old ones but was getting the exact same framerate as with the new so I switched back

Only for characters of a race/gender combonation I'm actually using. Holdover from raiding; in single groups it didn't make much difference but, when there's 71 other people milling around, it really helped.
